Croyde is one of the prettiest villages in Devon due to its many thatched 'chocolate box' cottages. Due to its enviable location next to the beautiful coastline it is also the most expensive area in North Devon to live.
It is extremely popular with surfers who come from far and wide to experience its awesome waves all year round, and its beautiful beach and stunning surrounding scenery make it a great spot for holiday-makers throughout the summer months.
There are plenty of surf shops, cafés and restaurants to keep you entertained but a trip to Braunton or Barnstaple would be required for additional facilities.
A bit of history:
Croyde dates back to pre-Saxon times and is named after a Norse Raider called Crydda!
